The dead body of Osama Bin Laden was done in strict conformation with Islamic percepts and practices. The body was buried at sea within 24 hours as per the rule in Islam.
Bin Laden’s mortal remains were taken on the deck of USS Carl Vinson in the Arabian Sea. The body was washed and placed on a white sheet. The ceremony began at 1.10 am. and finished at 2.10 am ET.
