Teen Maar movie – the good, the bad and the ugly!

Teen Maar movie – the good, the bad and the ugly!

Pawan Kalyan’s films are always the most eagerly awaited event in Tollywood. Teen Maar is one such film. The film is about love, infatuation, affairs, marriage etc. etc.

GOOD

Pawan’s acting (dual role so double the fun)

Trisha’s hot looks and acting

Chemistry between Pawan and Trisha is just right

A couple of songs, with “Aale…Baale… Aale…Baale” being peppy and the best of the lot

Solid script

Pawan-Trisha’s lip-lock

Trvikram’s dialogues

Jayanth’s taking

Focus on main story from start to finish without any diversion

Production values

Cinematography

Stunning locales

BAD

Too much adult content (remember, the film got a ‘U’ certificate)

Slow pace of the movie, particularly in the first half

Pawan’s Italian dialogues (first time okay, repeats are a big bore)

Too many English dialogues (director should have thought about the poor fans and audiences in the B and C centers?)

Weak comedy (the drunken act by Ali, Pawan and Trisha in the hotel lobby falls flat)

Editing (could have been much better)

UGLY

Pawan using filthy laguage aginst his investment banker boss just before the climax (the boss has not done anything wrong and so it is totally uncalled for)

Overall speaking ...

Teen Maar on a whole is a partly entertaining and partly preachy film. It is okay for a one time watch.
