New light train service in Jerusalem
Israelis walk past Jerusalem’s new light train service during a inaugural trip organised for the press. The light rail system, initiated in 2002, has been riddled with delays following political, structural and economic setbacks.
Officials hope the USD 1.4 billion project will be operative in the near future, streamlining transport in and around the holy city.
