Sai Kulwant Hall, Prasanthi Nilayam, Puttaparthi


The body of Sathya Sai Baba will be kept at Sai Kulwant Hall for two days to enable devotees to pay their last respects. The devotees will be allowed to have a darshan of his mortal remains from 6.00 p.m. (IST)

Sathya Sai Baba is no more



Sathya Sai Baba is no more. The doctors made an official announcement this morning. Baba breathed his last at 7.40 a.m. He passed away due to heart and lung failure.  Baba was admitted in the hospital on March 28. Baba’s last public appearance was on March 25.

Anna Hazare’s nephew back in Congress


Vinayak Deshmukh, nephew of social activist Anna Hazare left the Nationalist Congress Party of Sharad Pawar and rejoined the congress party. He said that he quit the NCP for its opposition to Anna Hazare and his fight for corruption and the Lok Pal Bill.
